Pabbly Connect vs IFTTT: tasks against credits
IFTTT costs less on paper: Pro is $7.99 a month for 20,000 credits, against $19 a month for 10,000 tasks on Pabbly Connect Standard, both billed monthly and read on October 30, 2026. The units differ, so the two prices cannot be set against each other one for one.
A Pabbly Connect task is an action performed on an external app; triggers and internal tools such as Filter and Router are not tasks. IFTTT charges Applet runs, MCP use and AI features against a monthly allowance of credits, and an Applet is IFTTT's word for one automation. IFTTT's plans page does not say how many credits one Applet run uses, so 20,000 credits cannot be turned into a number of runs.

How often each checks for new data
IFTTT checks every hour on Free, every 15 minutes on Starter and every 5 minutes on Pro and Pro+. Pabbly Connect has no single interval. An app that sends webhooks, such as WooCommerce, Shopify or Google Sheets, delivers its data at once, while a polling app checks on its own schedule; Pabbly's help center gives hours as the example for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Pabbly Connect does not charge for operations, its word for a check made to an external app for new data. Only action steps count as tasks.
Apps and multi-step workflows
IFTTT cites 1,000+ services and apps and Pabbly Connect cites 2,000+ integrations. Each vendor counts in its own way, so search each directory for the apps you use instead of comparing the two numbers. Where an app is missing from Pabbly Connect, its Action Builder adds an API as a workflow action.
Plan limits shape the workflows. The Free plan allows 2 workflows of up to 2 steps, and Standard builds multi-step workflows with any number of steps. Pabbly's terms say tasks are valid for 30 days with no carry-over. Plan prices and terms are covered on Pabbly Connect pricing.
Who should pick IFTTT, and who Pabbly Connect
Pick IFTTT for simple Applets where a low monthly price matters more than a counted unit: Starter is $2.99 a month for 5,000 credits and Pro is $7.99 for 20,000, billed monthly. Pick Pabbly Connect for multi-step business workflows priced per task, or for Unlimited at $79 a month, billed monthly, when one business runs high volume. The terms describe Unlimited as a 100,000-task starting balance that you can reset once a day, once 80% of it is used.
