Make.com alternatives: five automation tools priced at about 10,000 a month, billed monthly

Last reviewed October 30, 2026

Quick answerNone of these five hosted plans costs less a month than Make Core at $16 for 10,000 credits, billed monthly, so switch for a different meter: Pabbly Connect leaves triggers uncharged, and n8n counts a whole run once.

Make.com alternatives: switch for the meter, not the sticker

The Make.com alternatives to price are Pabbly Connect, Zapier, n8n, Albato and Integrately, and none costs less a month than Make Core at $16 for 10,000 credits, billed monthly, as read on October 30, 2026. So the reason to switch is the meter. A credit is Make's billing unit: most actions use one, and reading data from an app or webhook counts too.

Pabbly Connect: triggers and checks for new data are not charged

Pabbly Connect counts a task for each action step on an external app. Triggers are not tasks, and Pabbly says it does not charge for operations, which are its checks for new data. Standard is $19 a month for 10,000 tasks and Unlimited is $79, both billed monthly.

A form response that adds a spreadsheet row, creates a CRM contact and posts a team message uses 3 tasks on Pabbly Connect and 4 credits on Make, because reading the incoming data is a credit. Make's list of credit uses includes transforming data with built-in tools, aggregating and iterating, while Pabbly Connect lists its formatters and Iterator as free internal steps. A Router is free on both. Pabbly Connect vs Make sets the two side by side.

Two limits to know: Pabbly Connect tasks reset each month and do not carry over, and when they run out the workflows stop while trigger data waits in a queue of one per 100 tasks of the plan.

n8n: a whole workflow run counted once

n8n Cloud Pro is $60 a month for 10,000 workflow executions, billed monthly. An execution is a single run of the entire workflow, however many steps it has, so the form-response workflow above uses 1 execution per run. n8n says a workflow scheduled every 5 minutes uses about 8,600 to 8,900 executions a month.

n8n's Community Edition is free to self-host, and you pay for your own server. Pabbly Connect vs n8n compares the hosted plans.

Zapier: the larger app list by Zapier's own count

Zapier Professional is $193.50 a month for 10,000 tasks, billed monthly. A task is any successful action, and triggers never use tasks. Zapier says it offers 9,000+ app connections, while Make cites 3,000+ to 3,500+ apps. Each vendor counts in its own way, so search each directory for your own apps. New Zapier accounts also start a free 14-day Professional trial with no credit card. Zapier vs Make compares the pair directly.

Albato and Integrately at 10,000 a month

Albato Pro costs $110 a month, billed monthly, for 10,000 transactions. A transaction is each automation step that runs after the trigger. Past the package, Albato keeps the automations running and prices extra transactions 50% higher.

Integrately Professional is $49 a month for 10,000 tasks, billed monthly. Its tasks include conditions and data changes as well as actions, and its page advertises a 14 Day FREE Trial.

Which Make.com alternative fits which buyer

  • Pabbly Connect for short workflows, since its triggers use no task while Make counts each read as a credit.
  • n8n for long workflows that should count once a run, or a team that can host the Community Edition.
  • Zapier when its app list matters more than the bill.
  • Make Core stays the lowest sticker among these at 10,000 a month, and its credits expire at the end of the term.

Pabbly Connect's Free plan, 100 tasks a month, is a way to test one rebuilt scenario. It allows 2 workflows of up to 2 steps, so a longer scenario needs Standard.
